Union Public Service Commission Exam Notification

UPSC Eligibility Criteria:

Those who are wondering to apply for UPSC notification they must fulfill all eligibility norms-

  • One must be a citizen of India or
  • a subject of Nepal or
  • a subject of Bhutan or
  • a Tibetan refugee or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka or some specified East African countries and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India are eligible for applying.

Required Qualification:

Candidates applying for UPSC Examination must have completed their degree or diploma or Masters in relevant stream from recognized university or institute.

Aspirants also have relevant working experience in their related field.

UPSC Age Limit and Age Relaxation:

  • Appliers of UPSC Examination should have satisfying age as required for the relevant post. He/ she should be born not later than 1st August, 1994 and not earlier than 2nd August, 1985.
  • Relaxation in age for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Classes and physically disabled categories in respect of vacancies will be admissible as per fixed by the Government.

UPSC Selection Procedure:

As per the UPSC Notification, selection of the applicants will be based on the basis of their marks obtained written examination and personal interview, which will be organized by the recruitment panel of Union Public Service Commission.

Number of Attempts for UPSC Exam:

Any of the candidates can apply for UPSC notification only for the 6 time. One have limit to apply and attempt the examination. No one can apply more than the stipulated no. of attempts. Candidates belong to OBC community and other such as SC / ST, subject to the age limit with relaxation. Reserved category candidates can attempt the UPSC examination beyond the limits.

UPSC Exam Notification 2017 – 2018

Engineering Services Examination Notification:

Indian Engineering Services Examination is conducted in two stages one is prelims and second one is mains. Its Notification mostly released in the month of September and IES ESE Prelims exams will be conducted in January and IES mains will be held in May of every year. The exam is conducted with the motive to recruit eligible and capable candidates for jobs of CE, ME, EE and ETE services.

Academic Qualification: One must have competed graduation in Engineering from a recognized university

Age Eligibility: Applicants should have age in between 21 years to 30 years as on 1st January of the exam year. Age relaxations will admissible as per the government rules.

Combined Defense service Exam Notification:

In order to appoint the candidates Union Public Service Commission releases the CDS Exam notification in the month of November for pre and August for mains. CDS Exam I will be conducted in the month of February Combined Defense service Examination II in November with the intention to recruit eligible and captivated candidates to fill vacant jobs in defence sector.

Selection Procedure:

As per the UPSC notification selection of the applicants will be based on written examination and intelligence and personality test (service selection board)

NDA & NA Exam Notification:

National Defence Academy and Naval Academy examination (I) has been released by the Union public service commission in the month of Jan and June for I and II respectively. Then recruitment panel of the commission will conduct exam in April and September for I and II respectively. The exam is conducted to fill jobs in Navy army and air force.

Required Qualification:

  • Army Wing of National Defense Academy – Candidate must have passed 12th from a well-known education board.
  • Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defense Academy: Candidate must be 10+2 passed with Math and Physics from a well-known education board.

Civil Services Exam Notification:

Civil services prelims exam notification will be released in the month of February. The exam is coin ducted in two stages as prelims and mains candidates. Firstly aspirants have to go Civil Services preliminary examination the qualified can attend the Civil Services (Main) Exam. Civil Services is conducted by the commission with the intention to provide various eligible contenders for the civil services post.

Numbers of Attempts:

How many times one candidate can attempt the CS exam are as follows:

General category candidates  6.
OBC category candidates  9.
SC/ST candidates  Unlimited attempts till 37 years of age.

Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Exam Notification:

Union Public Service Commission releases the notification regarding Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Exam in the month of February mostly. The exam in conducted to recruit eligible aspirants for Geo-Scientist, Geologist, chemist and JR. hydro Geologist post in the May 12.5.2017 for those who have applied for it.

Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Exam Pattern:

CAPF ACs Exam Notification:

With the intention to fill up Assistant Commandant Jobs in Central Armed Police Forces, Union Public Service Commission releases CAPF ACs notification in the month of April. Then, recruitment panel of the commission will conduct Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Examination in the month of July. Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in test or interview.

Combined Medical Services Exam Notification:

With the intention to hire up various eligible candidates for the post of medical officer in different government department commission releases the Combined Medical Services Exam notification in the month of April. Selection of the candidates will be based on written test and interview.  Combined Medical Services Examination will be conducted in the month of August and qualified candidates will go for interview.

Union Public Service Commission release CISF AC (EXE) LDCE-2017 notification in order to fill up vacant position of Assistant Commandant Jobs in Central Industrial Security Forces in the month of December. Then CISF AC (EXE) Competitive Exam will be conducted for those who have applied for the same in the month of March. Final selection will done on the basis of recruitment test and interview.

IES ISS Exam Notification:

IES ISS Exam Notification released by the Union Public Service Commission in the month of March with the intention to recruit eligible and capable candidates for the government services.
