NDA Eligibility Criteria
Candidate’s residence is an important factor for NDA, so the concerned authority has set some condition according to which the candidates belonging to the following are only eligible to apply for NDA Exam and they should attain centrally issued nationality certificate, so have a look:
- A candidate must be citizen of India.
- A Subject of Bhutan.
- A Subject of Nepal.
- Tibetan refugee who came in India before 01st January 1962 with the intention settled in India.
- People who finally settled in India and are migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam.
- Only male candidates are applicable to join National Defence Academy, females are not all allowed to join Indian Defence Force, if they will apply then their form get cancelled while the screening of the application is done.
- Male candidates should not get marry in the training period if they do so, they are declared disqualified and are liable to pay the training expense done by the government on them till then.

Those aspirants who want to appear in NDA Exam to join Indian Army must have passed or should be pursuing 12th Class or equivalent from any recognized board or university. While those who want to apply for Indian Air Force and Indian Naval Force they should have passed or should be pursuing 12th Class or equivalent in (Physics and Mathematics) as main subjects from any recognized board/institute.
Those aaplicants who are still pursuing their 11th class, they are not eligible to appear fo NDA examination, If they will fill the application form, their form will be rejected by the authority.

Do you this restriction about Tattoos?
- Those applicants who have Tattoos on the visible part of their bosy like elbow, wrist or side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand they are not accepted by the authority and candidates will be declared unfit for the job. Tattoos are allowed only on inner face of forearm

|Loss of cervical lordosis when associated with clinically restricted movements of cervical spine.|
|Unilateral/Bilateral cervical ribs with demon strable neurological or circulatory deficit.|
|Granulomatous disease of spine|
|Arthritidies/spondylosis (Rheumatoid arthritis and allied disorders/ Ankylosing spondylitis/ Osteoarthrosis, spondylosis and degenerative joint disease/ Non articular rheumatism (e.g. lesions of the rotator cuff, tennis elbow, recurrent lumbago etc.) & Miscellaneous disorders including SLE, polymyositis, vasculitis.|
|Scoliosis more than 15 degree as measured by Cobb’s method.|
|Presence of schmorl’s nodes at more than one level.|
|Atlanto-occipital and atlantoaxial anomalies.|
|Hemi vertebrae and/or incomplete block (fused) vertebrae in cervical, dorsal or lumbar spine and complete block (fused) vertebrae in cervical or dorsal spine.|
About medical examination:
Candidates who will successfully qualify the entrance exam will have to attend the personal inbterview which is taken by Services Selection Board, after that the selected contenders are required to qualify the medical examination which will be judged by Board of Service Medical Officers. So aspirants are therefore suggested to overcome the minor defects/ailments for final medical examination. So you need to pay focus on these minor things such as Wax (Ears), Deviated Nasal Septum, Hydrocele /Phimosis, Overweight/Underweight, Under Sized Chest, Piles, Tonsillitis, Gynaecomastia and Varicocele.
