IBPS Clerk 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • The most important thing is that contender must be an Indian citizen.
  • Candidate should have done his graduation from any recognized university/ institute.
  • Besides his, interested aspirants should also have the knowledge of computer and must be able to operate its functioning.

Age Limit for IBPS Clerk

Aspirants those who are interested in IBPS clerk post must be between 20 years and 28 years of age. Some age relaxation will be given to contenders as per the norms set by the government.

IBPS 2018 Exam Pattern

It is an online exam and it is divided into 2 parts:

  1. i) Preliminary Exam
  2. ii) Mains Exam

The duration of Pre exam is 1 hour and Mains exam will be last long for 2 hours 40 minutes. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Selection Process

The selection process for the post of Clerk will be done in two rounds:-

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination

The aspirants who perform well in Preliminary exam will be qualified for the Main exam. On the basis of their marks in main exam, contenders will be selected for the IBPS Clerk job. There will be no interview round; selection will be based only on written examination. The comprehensive score out of 100 is used for the final merit list for each category.

  • Candidates can apply for the IBPS Clerical Exam 2018 through the official website of IBPS.
  • Then you have to hit on “Press here to apply online for CWE- Clerks (CWE-Clerks-VII)” link.
  • First contenders have to register themselves, a registration no. and password will be generated by the system, enter the details and press “Login” button.
  • After that fill the necessary information in the online application form.
  • While filling the application form, aspirants will have to upload the scanned copies of educational qualification documents, their signature and passport size photograph also.
  • Before hitting the Submit button, it is essential to deposit the application fee through credit/ debit card or net banking.
  • Then submit the form and take a print out of filled form for the further use.
  • No changes will be done after the submission process.

IBPS CLERK Admit Card 2018

IBPS 2018 hall ticket will be issued before some days of the examination. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website and can take the printout of IBPS Clerk Admit Card. Do not forget to bring your IBPS Admit card while appearing in the exam because aspirants without the call letter will not get entry in the examination hall.

IBPS CLERK 2018 Result

The results will be declared on the official website of the organization. The IBPS Pre exam result is going to be issued in the month of December 2018 and the IBPS Clerk Mains Results will release in the month of February 2019. After the results, Candidates will get selected for the clerical post.

Penalty for Wrong Answer

In preliminary examination and also in mains examination, for each wrong answer consist penalty of one-fourth of the total mark. We would like to inform candidates that if you leave blank space or don’t answer there will be no penalty for that question.
